Forged aluminum lower accepts all standard AR-15 parts and is upgraded with special machining operations after forging. Magazine well is precision wire EDM cut to give smooth inner surface with precise tolerances for optimum function. Mag well opening is beveled to ease mag insertion and removal. Holes in the receiver are precision reamed, not drilled, for smoothness and concentricity, and receiver extension threads are cut with precision helical threading for perfect alignment and smooth installation and removal of buffer tubes. Laser engraving on the side is cut extra deep, giving the lower a custom appearance. Receiver is compatible with standard, 90° safety selectors as well as Battle Arms Short-Throw Safety Selector, sold separately.
